We've been away for a while but, my goodness have things been CRAZY so far in 2013. In all of 2012 we placed 23 dogs and we believe we may hit 20 by the end of April. I think I've bored our Facebook audience to tears with the adventures of Chance so I thought I would bring a little of that chaos to our blog. This is Chance.
He's not quite two and is love, love, loving life in a home even if it's just a foster home. He has had two full days in a crate and he has done very well. It's when he gets out of his crate that the fun starts. Tonight it's cold and wet outside so the dogs haven't been able to run off much energy. That's okay, Chance will busy himself around the house. He found an empty plastic food container which he tore up and spread around the house. He somehow pulled the sewing machine off of the sewing machine table. Yeah, that was loud. He helped himself to a bag of Tostitos (which gratefully he did not eat, just carried around), he moved a pair of my pants and stole the hand towel I use to get hot items out of the oven. And now he's sleeping. Tonight he learned that he likes to have his neck scratched. So he scratched it on a laundry basket, on Princess Shannon's butt and on my leg. He then nibbled on my hand for a while. He's a really fun boy. I'm glad his spurts of busy-boy are short because I'm not sure that I have the energy to chase him around the house for more than 10 or 15 minutes at a time. You're a funny, funny boy Chance.
